What A Blessing!

We decided to go to Utah and have Milly blessed in my parents ward so our families could all share in this special time with us. We planed this blessed event (ha ha) to be during spring break so Mike's family could come from Arizona and be there too. All but one brother came, and that's pretty good considering Mike has 10 siblings, (we missed Daniel). Milly is the first grandchild on Mike's side and barely made second on mine, (number three was only 6 days old at Milly's blessing). We were happy to be with all our family, it's just going to get harder and harder to get everyone together as our families grow. My mom had my talented cousin Autumn document the event, and I just got the pictures so I've posted a couple, (Thank you mom and Autumn, we love the pictures!)

Little Milly has definitely been a Blessing in our lives.

Two-Lips

I love living in Oregon. We have found a lot of fun activities to look forward to throughout the year, rain or shine. In the summer we love to pick blueberries, in the fall the pumpkin patches, winter brings the lookout tower ski trip and in the spring, the beautiful tulip festival! Milly and I went with our cousin Katie and her three girls Taylor (4), Hallie (2), and Kenzie (3 days younger than Milly). We had a great time, mud puddles and all.

Kenzie and Milly's first cow ride, mine too.

Now that Milly is getting bigger she is starting to look more like a little person with her own personality and features. When she was first born we saw a lot of mike in her, actually everyone who saw her commented that she looks just like her dad, I don't think anyone thought she looked like me. (Funny, because I was the one who did most the work, shouldn't I get some credit too?) She definitely has his chin, ears, long legs, and big feet, but now we are starting to see that she does take after me in many ways. She is a very playful baby and very excitable, always flailing her long arms and kicking her long legs, while making happy squawking sounds. She also loves attention especially from her Dad. And one feature she did not get from her dad, her lips.

Return of the Blog

Sorry I have not blogged in awhile. I must of had the blogging blues. I've realized i'm not much of a blogger . (however i have some very good blogging buds, and i've really enjoyed blogging as a spectator sport) I'm still kind of a rookie blogger, would that make me a bloggie? As you can see I'm trying to get use to this new verb in my vocabulary, maybe once i'm more comfortable with it i'll update my blog a bit more.

Actually, the only reason anyone requests new blog posts is to see my beautiful babe.

So here she is!
