Celebrating LIFE

I am starting this blog celebrating the commencement of NEW LIFE, Crosby life. She has to come out sometime, most likely soon, and when she does our life as we know it now will never be the same. There has been a lot of change already leading up to this drastic "moment of change", but i can feel that this change is going to be something greater than can ever be expected. I don't think we'll be backpacking in the snow for awhile.

I'm still so amazed that there is a living being inside of me. I know it's pretty obvious given the size of my belly and the near constant moving of it's current resident, but when i really think about it i am still shocked . . . in disbelief . . . just amazed. The other night for about 2 1/2 hours straight little Milly was crazy moving. My belly was continuously poking out and contorting in every direction possible. I ended up calling the on call nurse, who reassured me (like I was an idiot) "baby moving is a good thing" . . . duh! i knew that, but i really don't think she understood the magnitude of these movements. They probably made the Richter scale! So the next time she started acting up we pulled out the video camera, for proof! I know i'm new at this, but i really don't think that is normal, and that's mild compared to the night i made the phone call. Is this a preview of what's to come?! Scary!
